Atlantis, lost again!

... The streets of Atlantis have just been swept clean, without a trace, once again. That magical little (100 square miles!) city recently discovered on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean, with streets beautifully aligned in a gridlike manner, has just been erased off the maps... of Google Oceans.
The area around 31°N - 24°W has been given a much needed facelift. Flaws in the system used to make the 3D maps created "overlapping data sets", which really says it all. Some original archived ship data was the main cause. The process being used to clean up this mess on the worlds ocean floors is making the maps 50% more accurate, which is great for people looking into the deep for signs of lost civilizations.
... Peace.

So... Down and down and down and down and down and down we go,
Hurry my darling we mustn't be late for the show,
Neptune's Champion Games to an aqua world is so very dear,
Right this way smiles a mermaid,
I can hear Atlantis full of cheer. - Jimi Hendrix
.........
The avatar, Metaluna, or oversized signature? The avatar upsidedown to me looks like he's from a scary part of the galaxy.
... Peace.

My avatar and signature are both not only from the same galactic neighborhood, I found them both lying on the same beach.
Both are mirror images from artifacts.
They each have a face with squinty eyes and puffy cheeks somewhere on them.
There's a flying vehicle depicted on both.
Theres a magic mushroom on both artifacts.
Another image from my avatar reminds me of Glinda:

The signature pix reveals this with a mirror:

To me my signature looks like my upsidedown avatar, but smiling. They could be the same alien. I'm a believer, it's all very real, tangible stuff.
... Peace.

I went to the co-ordinates listed and whatever it is that you people saw is still there. It has not been erased--at least not on my computer. Raising the eye-altitude to about 100 miles (160 KM) it became visible.

But then look at the elevation and you will see that it almost 18,000 feet below sea level--about 3.5 miles. That is about 6 KM for those on the metric system.

Could this formation--whatever it is--be what is left of Atlantis? I suppose that it is possible, but I frankly doubt it. It is not the right shape to be Atlantis, if you go by Plato, who, IIRC, tells us that Atlantis was a series of concentric circles. In favor of it being Atlantis however, is the location: almost due west of Gibralter. This at least, is just about where Plato puts it.

So, who knows?
