... The streets of Atlantis have just been swept clean, without a trace, once again. That magical little (100 square miles!) city recently discovered on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean, with streets beautifully aligned in a gridlike manner, has just been erased off the maps... of Google Oceans.
The area around 31°N - 24°W has been given a much needed facelift. Flaws in the system used to make the 3D maps created "overlapping data sets", which really says it all. Some original archived ship data was the main cause. The process being used to clean up this mess on the worlds ocean floors is making the maps 50% more accurate, which is great for people looking into the deep for signs of lost civilizations.
... Peace.
