The Money Pit

What was the true reason for the crusades? Was it because of the Templar's quest to get a hold of the Ark of the Covenant? And if so, what was the Ark of the Covenant? Was it really just a box containing the ten commandments, or was it really a storage container for an extraterrestrial food-dispensing device called "The Manna Machine"? What if this Manna Machine was later referred to as the "Holy Grail"? What if the Holy Grail / Manna Machine was the "Baphomet," an allegedly sinister object in Templar lore?

I remember reading about this lazily as a kid, but now that I saw it on AA show a few months ago, I can't get enough of it. I never could refind the name until they showed us the name. What do you guys think is down there?

I don't believe Oak Island has the Arc of the Covenant. I think Graham Hancock's The Sign and the Seal shows clearly where the arc is.

What do you guys think is down there and how do you propose we get it out? Also, who do you think was so clever enough to actually put it there?

I merged this thread with the ongoing topic of the Money Pit at Oak Island.

My thoughts of what could be there are above. Until they dig it up, we won't know what is down there. Sometimes the mystery is better than the find.

Path of Least Resistance wrote:yeah, i don't have cable and i happened to catch it at my parents house during the Father's Day weekend. pretty interesting stuff.

i never realized they had made it so far inland in the US.

you'd think they would be able to use radar or something to try and peer under the surface of the money pit. they just used it to map out some ancient site in Egypt ( i think?)

anyone know the last time someone tried to excavate it?

i think it would end up being more information rather than some treasure. perhaps a map or or something pointing the direction of the Grail...if it of Templar origins.

I think I read somewhere that a group of treasure hunters were successful is obtaining the proper permit(s) to start searching the island again. I am not sure if they are still waiting for another gov't agency to sign off on the project or not. Anyways, I believe that within the next 6-8 months we should be able to get an update on what (if any) headway was made in the quest!! Happy hunting to whomever is spending the time and money!!!

Are any of you aware of Mason island ?
It sits SSE of oak island exactly 4 miles away and is shaped like a bird sitting and looking due east at what looks like a duck.
If you go in closer on mason island, in the center is what looks like a lake, shaped like part of a hand with two fingers pointing ( you can even see the fingernails).
In fact, does'nt Oak island look rather like a baby elephant ?
There are many small islands around this area shaped like animals.
Makes me wonder if they are shaped by intelligent hands !
This whole area is where the templars came by sea long before columbus ever did. This is shown in Roslynn chapel by the sculpted plants that they discovered there before anyone else new of their existence.

This painting by Poussin from the 1630s entitled ' Les Bergers d'Arcadie, is believed to be a direct reference to Arcadia which i believe translates as Nova Scotia.

They do look interesting from the air. Mason Island looks like a seahorse to me.

The first one either a seahorse or a seabird. I have been looking at these for a while now, and they do look quite interesting.

The bottom one looks like a duck.

I wonder if a geologist has done any research to see if they are possibly artificial?

Since Oak Island was more than likely artificially created, then there could be others, possibly many around the world, not just around there. The wonders never seem to cease?
