Money doesn't grow on trees! Not everyone is born into money.

by the way I know this as I was born in the Former Soviet Union.

Sorry I did not mean to offend, but it is tricky being a lone female (especially a younger female) in a foreign country. You have to take extra precautions. It seems that it would be a lot easier for me to travel the world if I wasn't born with a vagina. I dread dealing with the embassy to bring my protection with me.

You should try to find a travel buddy that has similar ideas as yourself. That way you can rely one each other while still having a good time.

Hell I'd even be interested in going :D

Guys, c'mon. The only way we're ever going to get real answers to the BIG questions is if we have the numbers. So get mating!

Been there... done that.... got the tee shirt....

Actually something better than a tee shirt... a daughter that can wear my ol' tee's... and does!

She's now a bright and beautiful college student that has always been my sidekick whether we were arrowhead hunting or checking out the telescope. She's just a big a fan of Ancient Aliens as I am. I've been telling her AA stories since she was a baby... now she's seeing all the things on TV... and she loves it.

Nice avatar, Siren!

My love passed away in July - my wonderful wife, who was only 56. So at the age of 59, I'm left with only mental intellectual affairs! LOL!

Thanks!
and there is nothing wrong with the mental intellectuals! It took me a while, but my other half finally became that for me! he was always the sports fanatic, but now i am enjoying sports as much and he is engaging in ancient aliens discussions at home and he comes to the meetings i have once a month with a group of friends discussing Preternatural matters. Since my father passed two years ago i have been trying to get my mom out on a date! its hard but gotta start somewhere!

Believe me, I can sympathize with your Mom.

Marriages are either terrible, or wonderful. If they're terrible, I'd imagine you'd be reluctant to ever start putting yourself in "harm's way" again! LOL!

If they're wonderful - as mine was :D - you can't imagine anyone else being anything but a way-second-best substitute for what you lost. :(

Hubby and I are sending our best wishes to all the single alien astronauts out there so they can meet their true alien love here in this forum. May you find love, discuss many theories and for goodness sakes, hook up already!! Time's a wasting, there are conventions to attend, coffee talks about AATs to participate in and new friends to make. :D

That is very true indeed. She is doing better, honestly I think she is enjoying an aspect that she had not really had "freedom" to do what ever she wants. Like silly stuff like watching what she wants on tv not having to cook for two.. but underneath it all I know she is still pretty heartbroken. It still gets me. I miss him too. It is a hard thing and he was so liked by everyone. I hope you can get through it. It is rough. It stops hurting eventually, but then you always have stuff that reminds you. That part is tough. So we welcome you on the forum.. if anything it can be a GREAT DISTRACTION!!! NOW GO MEET PEOPLE! =))

Re: Looking for like minded male mate to rescue me

lauthica wrote:Hello! My name is Samantha. I am 20 years old, soon to be 21 (whoop whoop.) I am about 6' tall and I have an athletic body. I have long hair whose colour changes with the seasons lol! I also have very rare light grey eyes. I have a big build, and I am not afraid of muscle. I want to be strong just like one of my idols, the Predator.

Ok, interests...this is complicated. I love Science, especially Paleontology, Genetics, and Cryptozoology. (And Ancient Alien theory of course.) I am a free lance writer trying to get my foot into the door of the publishing industry. When I am not working, I like to hang out with my friends. I like to cook. I am a huge movie buff. I love all kinds of music. I love sports, especially football. I also enjoy being outdoors. i love to go hiking and swimming. Video games are also an important pass time for me. Kingdom Hearts baby!!!!!!!!!!

Personality: Not so tricky. I may be young but I am very wise beyond my years. I had a rough childhood which had made me into a strong, independent person. I have been told that i am a wonderfull freind and that I am warm and kind hearted. I go out of my way to make someone smile or laugh. I am a very funny person. i would do anything to make someone laugh or smile. It's my daily goal.

Downside: I am very open minded but also stubborn. I know who i am and what I want to do with my life. If anyone tried to tell me otherwise I would hand their butts to them on a silver platter....battle of whits only. I don't do physical violence....unless they say something about my family or friends, then they die. LOL!

I believe that everyone is in charge of only their own lives to live. They just share it with someone else who also is in charge of their own life. I would never tell my "mate" to change anything about himself. It's all him. But at the same time i don't want him to tell me to change either. It's a lot like Yin and Yang.

P.S. I am obsessed with Japanese culture....don't really know why.

I am looking for someone that I can have a decent, edcuated converstion with and then kick back to watch an action or sci-fi flick or butt heads in a video game.

If you are interested, the webpage on my profile for this site is my facebook.

Go ahead and say that you enjoy fishing, not letting your mother come over, and nude house-cleaning, and you would get my vote for most perfect-woman ever!!!! LOL!!!! (I'm joking of course....except about fishing!)

Seriously though, I wish you luck, a good person to spend time with is hard to find....which is odd, because increases in population haven't seemed to help this age old problem of finding a soul mate.

I do enjoy fishing and hunting though I have only killed a possum. If your mother is anything like Marie on "everybody loves Raymond" I would most definitely not invite her over. As for the nude house cleaning I have never tried cause I live with my grandma and father and it might freak them out. But I have skinny dipped in the local river in broad daylight next to a state historic site with my closest friends. Lol!

Near Seattle

Postby Toby Dubes » Thu Feb 03, 2011 2:15 pm

Are there any single cool thinkers out on this Love Box  that are near Seattle? :?: Funny name for this by the way Giorgio. With a couple Dos Equis under by belt (and I don't mean the beer), and at my ripe old age of about to be the big 5-0, it would be quite a feat to pull off, finding chemistry and a "thinker" in the same body. But hey, no harm in trying.

I wonder if its related to the penalty box in hockey. Or maybe the penalty box is what you get when you are already hooked up.

Hey space relative. All the best of winter intentions and we can still end up skating on thin ice. (Trying to segway your hockey reference.)
