I looked at the link that you had posted for the brown dwarf star. It was very interesting. I have advocated that there is a connection between the brown dwarf and the earthquake numbers and magnitude. This info agrees with my position. I suspect that on Sep 26, 2011 that America could have one or two major earthquakes. One at New Madrid, the second one in southern Cal. There is a possibility that the west slope of La Palma may be displaced. If any one of these events occur it will be bad for America. If two, or all three occur at the same time the nation of the United States may not survive.

Dwarf of not. Armaggedon or not. Elenin is a headsup. It is very, very possible that we detect an incoming body with only 10 months in anticipation.

We don't have technology to divert a 2.5km comet. We could try. We should try, like blowing up like 10 nukes at its side. Maybe a 1º deflection is enough, depending on the body's distance from Earth. But it would be a desperate measure only.

What I meant is that there is a number of astronomers out there with equipment and capacity of detecting and calculating the comet's path.

I believe that one very respected astronomer could just call a Science Magazine with the story, if this Elenin were larger than Jupiter and/or was heading towards us (instead of posting a video on youtube).

I have watched many video's in regards to this Elenin, and I have visited the astronomy sites, and to me, this object is a comet, a very alrge one, but not a red star, or planets, but an actual large comet, that is heading our way, and it will pass through our solar system,a nd cause havoc, and we will be in the trail f it's tail when it passes between us and the sun,a nd yes we will probalby have metero showers, but I do not believe that it is going to be the complete end of mankind, but a large catastrophe all around the earth due to the meteor showers, and the pull on our sun, and earth and all the other planets, which will cause some larger solar activity,a nd more earth quakes and volcanoe eruptions, and more terrible weather, and after it passes, it all will subside within about a year, and many will survive the aftermath, but I do believe that the governments of the earth might not survive as they are now. OK...bear with me on this, and just consider it for a moment. Seeing that episode of Thru the Wormhole about "Consciousness" got me thinking.

IF we truly are the "co-creators" of reality, and that what "happens" is a direct product of our collective thoughts, then the "lizards, illumo-naughties, etc." know this, and so they put out all this disinfo-crap to get everyone frightened and worked into a frenzy, so that when enough people are sufficiently "upset", then the "BAD THING" happens: destruction, death, planet ripped apart, do not pass go, do not collect your $200whhhhaaaaqrrrrrrgarble....you know the drill. We've been assaulted with it for at least the past decade.

BUT WHAT IF: a large-enough group of people decided "not to play the game" and instead of imagining/thinking-about/obsessing-over/constantly "angsting" about this big "terrible bad thing about to happen" we instead imagine that the Reign of The Evil Ones is truly coming to an end, and that yes, things WILL be changed, but for the BETTER, with all the vile unfairness and greed and cruelty banished. Suffering purely optional. Hard part? Trying not to get caught up in "HOW"...just see it done.

Okay ... I don't have any FEAR ... this is one of things humans will be able to let go of. Disinfo is a fact of life. It will always be there because there are too many plausible possibilities and end results - outcomes that can become the final reality. It does appear the comet is not going to put on a good show and will be hard for us to view when it does pass by.

Thanks for the update Max! Seeker, they are spot on of the consciousness, I myself try to always think in those terms, and it does keep me more peaceful, and I am not a harbringer of fear, (I hope not anyway). I believe in my cup as half full, rather than half empty, so even when things go astray, as they do sometimes, if I do my best to keep a good attitude things always end up turning around to the better. I do have to be patient sometimes, (which I do not like since I am a hyper person), but it is just another thing to deal with. In regards to us thinking our way into a better reality, I agree, the more people that think in a better scenario, the more likely that is what will come about. From my own experience, it has helped in my life, and I have noticed it in many others also, so it does seem to me to be the real, making of reality of this material existence.

In my life Friday is just another day in a given week … given month … in a given year … what does Friday have to do with anything? I agree with both of you.

Wow, that is sad. It is one thing if adults go off the deep end (which is sad too), but when kids do it over stuff like this... they never even had a chance to experience life to any large degree. And for what -- how many end-of-the-world moments have you all heard over the course of your lifetime (me, I'm in double digits). These young ones are especially vulnerable because they still trust adults (somewhat) and have not developed the weapons and tools to defend themselves.

I often think of the Hale-Bopp comet crowd and how stupid, pointless, and wasteful that was. Elenin is not even going to be close, yet it will still take lives needlessly. I was once told that kind of stuff is just Darwinism at work, but I still think it is sad.
