Im, Thanks for the url, at least there is one politicians with a conscious! I would elect him for President in a heartbeat. I just hope they don't have him killed for telling the truth, which is what usually happens when someone does tell the truth about these things! I have always known that the big oil companies and banks did not pay taxes, and were getting tax breaks, but I did not know they were actually getting Billions of dollars back from the IRS! Totally disgusting. The ones who run these companies have no conscious, with that means they are Psychopathic, just the same as serial killers, and should all be put in prison for the rest of their lives, with no parole!

All of Washington, (Congress and the Senate and White House), have lost it! Everyone needs to write their congressmen and tell them that they need to take a pay cut of not less than 30%, cut their benefits, and none of them get retirement unless they have 20 years of more of continued service. No other entitlements, no more flying first class, if they have to stay at a motel it must be either a motel 6 or super 8, vacations for only 2 weeks a year, only 5 sick days per year. If they do not call in if sick, they are fired. They should not be able to vote on their pay, only the people could vote for their pay, if they get a raise it will be a 3% or less a year. All their congressional savings will go into the Social Security funding, and they cannot take it out, or use it for anything else, and the money cannot be used from social security for any other programs or reasons, social security will be locked for social security use only! If they have or make over 1 million dollars, they get no retirement, or social security period! If they have a disability, they have to utilize the systems just like everyone else, and get no special treatment! They should have to pay for health care just like everyone else, no special programs. Congressmen and Senators should not be paid more than $50,000.00 per year, if they are already millionaires it will be for voluntary service only without pay! There will be no more spring breaks, summer breaks, winter breaks, or fall breaks, they will have to campaign on their own time, and without any federal or states funding. The maximum allowed contributions from individuals, corporations, businesses will be a one time donation of no more than $1,000.00. There will be no more legislative loopholes for donations, whether to a party or individual campaign. None will ever be able to get 20 or more years to retirement because term limits will be only a maximum of 8 years, and they will not be able to get a severance pay if booted out of office prior to their term of office. Their severance pay will be for only two weeks of pay, as is for the majority of people! All can be voted in office by the people and voted out of office by the people , (and voted out at any time)! No politician will be able to utilize more than $1,000,000.00 on a campaign. Any excess funding will go to Disabled Veteran's funding. All Veteran's Benefits will be locked from being able to be reduced, they can only be increased, or kept the same, not reduced! If they are in a war of any kind, even a skirmish, then soldiers pay is locked, it cannot be decreased, nor their benefits, they can raise them, but not lower them.
My mistake. Sorry about the double posting. I am just a little peeved about what has been going on in Washington. For them to even consider cutting everyone else's benefits, and pay, or letting it stop for any reason, is unacceptable. We really need a new system of control over our government, not government control over us!

That is really true! If all government employees including the president were forced to live by the laws they make for every american, then the problem would just go away on its own.

Yeah I haven't heard one thing about any politician wanting to cut their salary or saying that politicians should be paid less. I want to see them live off the pay that the armed service members, firefighters, police, and teachers get....

I haven't voted for years (even when I was in the military) because I havent seen one politician worth voting for. You rarely ever hear the candidate say "this is what i'm about and how I will represent YOU. The first thing out of their mouth is criticism which makes me want to throw up my ketchup and crackers that I live on.....

Wasn't our current secretary of treasury one of the head honcho's at goldman/sachs(or sucks whichever you prefer)? I heard a quote from him while he was sucks ceo saying that "the way to keep general public under one's thumb is to dangle the golden proverbial carrot of being rich in front of them"
