Yeah, I hate FB but I did my yearly login and found I had about 60 friend requests. Oh well, might as well bow to the inevitable.

If any relatives find my profile, they get what they get...too bad.

I'm using my real name so just put AAS or Legendary Times in the request and I'll know who you are.

I am not worried about what any relative might read. It is a long boring story, but I am estranged from one side of my family, I have been for over 40 years now and after all of these years I just don't want to start up with them again.

Facebook is great idea but i don't trust Mark Zuckerberg after i read this comment of his, and so deleted my account...

Loveable Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg called his first few thousand users "dumb f****" for trusting him with their data, published IM transcripts show. Facebook hasn't disputed the authenticity of the transcript.

Zuckerberg was chatting with an unnamed friend, apparently in early 2004. Business Insider, which has a series of quite juicy anecdotes about Facebook's early days, takes the credit for this one.

The exchange apparently ran like this:

Zuck: Yeah so if you ever need info about anyone at Harvard

Zuck: Just ask.

Zuck: I have over 4,000 emails, pictures, addresses, SNS

[Redacted Friend's Name]: What? How'd you manage that one?

Zuck: People just submitted it.

Zuck: I don't know why.

Zuck: They "trust me"

Zuck: Dumb f****

That's cool and i don't have a problem with that, but i have an OLD head on my shoulders and i took that as a personal insult.

All my facebook friends are pretty much people I have met on the various forums I have been going to for quite a few years now. I ended up feeling left out not having a Facebook page, mine is still pretty sparse.

Didn't realize there were so many JSs out there. Just look for the scurvy pirate type. That just might set me apart.

I will approve and invite first chance I get. I can't do anything on FB from work cause it all gets blocked by Comcast.

For those who are interested i created an LT Forum group on Facebook this morning. I already placed those who have connected with me on FB into the group (you'll probably get an invite when you login...i think). Others on here who are interested can look up "LT Forum" under the groups and friend anyone in the group. At that point you can join the group.

No problem...it'll be easier to remember who everyone is if they are all in one place since many of us have our birth names, or different user names on FB than here.
