That's what I like too...

Maybe I should learn some binary?

I also had a question about the pages not being yellow when they were shown on UFO Hunters a while back. It was explained to me that the lighting used to film them made the pages look brighter than what they really were. I looked back at some and noticed the pages were yellowing on the sides, common for notebooks that are kept out of moisture and well preserved.

The age of the paper doesnt make any difference to me at all. Its not hard to find an old notebook to write in. Ive seen them at garage sales all the time thrown in with other old books for 5 cents. Its the timing of the message being revealed that I have issue with. The concept of binary code isnt that obscure that he wouldnt have known what ones and zeros were back then. Especially working for the Air Force. He could have brought that to light years ago but didnt, and I'm willing to bet its because the message didnt exist back then. If I found a blank diary that was in someone closet or atic for years and I decided to take a pencil to it with a message I coded myself how could you prove me wrong once I gave you a story on how I came by it? Even if the pages are from 1947 I wouldnt buy it.

I can definitely see why many would be highly skeptical of this story. I have a bit of skepticism about this new found discovery also. While it is great that Ancient Astronauts got the scoop so to speak on this aspect of the case, it does give plenty of fodder to the debunkers who are looking for anything to state the series is all wrong.

(Not saying you are a debunker, Mandalor!)

I want this to be true in the worst way, but I also know we have been taken for a ride before in the past on other paranormal cases out there (the Bigfoot body in Georgia immediately comes to mind).

It's cool, I didn't take it that way at all. Believe me when I tell you I am a huge believer in AAT, ET's, UFO's, Constant visitation, abduction and the rest. I'll give every case I see serious thought before I raise my BS flag. But when I see or hear something that doesn't quite jive I have no problem calling BS. I think a lot of people hold military service in very high regard, as they should, but it's no certification against BS because the military is full of BS artists that take advantage of that very regard for their service. I've seen it so many times. So BS is BS no matter who it comes from. Don't get me wrong, I'd love for that whole binary coded message story to be true, but it just doesn't make much sense to deliver such a message considering the events that lead to the contact. I do believe an event of some kind happened, and that it went down the way most everyone that was there described it to have happened, but this is something that has been added to the lore. If he had divulged this years ago and the message said something about ET concerns about the use of nuclear weapons on earth and such I might consider it to be authentic but I just don't. Those of us who visit this site are very interested in finding the truth about things. We are passionate in knowing the vast possibilities of our history and the universe we live in and I'm glad to see we can still look at things and not fall into them head first simply because we want to believe some fantastic stories to be true. We can afford to believe everything we hear and we have to apply critical thinking to every case no matter how cool they might be if true. I may be wrong, who knows. But that's the trouble with his claims, you just have to take his word for it. I cant do that. I may be mistaken but I don't recall hearing whether he passed any type of polygraph concerning the binary message, not that its a prove all but at least it's one type of control measure that can be taken towards it validity. I'll just let this one go and focus my interests on the more amazing finds that are just about impossible to refute through critical thinking.

I also look at stuff with a skeptical pair of eyes. I used to believe every story I read about these subjects when I was much younger. I then became a debunker for a long part of my life until I read a comedy book by Richard Belzer about JFK and UFOs. He actually raised many excellent questions about those cases, and since he is also reasonably intelligent I started to reexamine my thoughts on what is out there and look at the best cases through my experienced eyes.

My military experience let me look at the Roswell case and I found many interesting things that happened that day which would of been done much differently had it been a weather balloon (even a Mogul Balloon).

I also look for the physical evidence that is out there to support these theories and ideas. The recent find of the radar confirmation of an unknown object over head at Rendlesham Forest during the incident adds a very big positive to the case too.

Big time! Just on the security end alone the flags go up. They wouldn't have mobilized so much hardware and security personnel if it were just a balloon. Even if it was a top secret balloon they'd have tried to keep a small footprint. It's not like it went down in down town LA. They were in the middle of west bubblacky dustbowl desert. Something huge happened no question.

They also flew the debris to Ft Worth and then on to Wright Patterson Field. They even destroyed all documents on Roswell pertaining to that day with no explanation, but the flight logs were forgotten about in Ft Worth and Wright Patterson (Lt Col Kevin Randle found the logs and proved the flights did indeed happen).

On a supply point of view, why would they fly obviously redtagged debris specially to Wright Patterson and not use the usual cheaper supply route?

Then there are all the flag officers that were involved in this over the Fourth of July week, which is generally a down week. Why would they be concerned about the debris of a balloon or the test equipment since it was nothing really special? That would be the job of the DCM, not agencies outside of the base.

I was thinking if I were in Pennistons shoes and I received a message in my head from touching an alien craft I would not have said anything to anyone for fear of losing my military career. Brain damage or possible delusions would have probably meant a dishonorable discharge from the Air Force.
Also, I do not think he received a personal message to relay to mankind. It seems to me what he received was a sort of radio transmission. Not meant for him, only absorbed accidentally by him. What he absorbed may have been a type of binary matrix emblem. It seems to me that almost all companies have some type of emblem. NASA for example has their name and/or their mission purpose painted on their exploratory space equipment. Maybe what Penniston absorbed was an emblem. An emanating binary matrix emblem that stated the purpose of that alien space craft.
I would love to know what is on the rest of his notebook pages.

Actually, Tsgt Penniston would not of received a Dishonorable Discharge for any type of health or mental condition. He would of been honorably discharged and would of had a disability claim through the Veterans Administration. He would not of been eligible for retirement until he had at least 14 years in (or more, depending on the situation).

It is true he did fear for his career if he would of stated something like that happened to him, but it would not of meant anything other than an Honorable Discharge.

Something that really interested me about this story was Penniston's description of the craft. He is military so he was expecting to see USAF or something of that sort written on the side of the craft. To me that feels like he is already familiar with advanced craft or machinery, but instead he noticed what looked like hieroglyphics! Thats some food for thought. I cant wait for them to revisit the sight and maybe conjur up some repressed memories or maybe have them undergo hypnosis for the 3rd season. They probobly already are:)
