Hey, I'd LOVE to add ya'll to my FB page. Gosh, I sure do need something to spice it up. Only thing I have to talk about lately are my pets! And NO ONE talks ancient aliens. Every time I post about something in that regard, I get nothing in reply, no comments, nada, so I've not done it in awhile. I just joined FB yesterday. I crossed over to the darkside because of LT. I really don't want to interact with family or reunite with long-lost whoevers, lol.

I'm on there.... but I don't really mess with it enough to make it a everyday thing. I'm trying to minimize my use of electronic gagits.

I'm with you, Lunarwing! All my life I've been something of a technophobe, but now I'm starting to think just how bad it is that we've all gotten so dependent on electronic gadgetry for everything we do. Many people today don't know how to read a map, tell time with a conventional watch or clock, can't remember anything without some gadget reminding them. . . what's going to happen when some sun spot or such brings all of this down?! :shock:

I just seen on the tube that 71% of everyone that uses a computer is on Facebook.

And something about over 50% no longer interact on a personal level as we did 50 years ago.

I don't know about everyone else.... but I still like talking face to face with folks.....

Years ago you could walk down the street and people would look into your eyes and smile.... now you walk through the mall and no one looks at you.

If it happens and we live through it, I am just going to sit back and watch the chaos. We could deal pretty well being on a permanent camping trip.

I don't do much on FB either, I am on there, but I don't make comments much. And I refuse to plaster my personal pictures all over the place.

A lot of us older folks atleast won't be going through electric gadget withdrawal as bad. I'd miss my internet friends, but not much I can do about it.

I too am on FB but I am very private about stuff so i rarely friend new people if I do not know them. I have had one really strange experience back in the day when myspace was beginning and now I'm cool hiding behind the veil of my user name here.

Have never had the desire to get on facebook...my g/f is on there constantly. She was happy when today she found out she could get on facebook with her Kindle. I just don't see what all the hoopla is about.

Facebook can be pretty amazing when you sign up, connect with a few people, and then see all the people it recommends that you might know. Old friends you haven't heard of from in yeaaaaars, relatives, all that.

I'm all about social networking, though.

Doesn't sound like there are a lot of you on FB It's pretty B-O-R-I-N-G but the Ancient Aliens show page and Giorgio's page are pretty entertaining. :wink:

and for anyone that is on FB and "likes" Giorgio's fan page.. is it just me, or can you also not read/view his comments on the discussion boards? I see that it will say
"Giorgio commented on _____ Discussion" but then when I go to see what he wrote, nada! I can just view other people's comments.. bummer.
