UFO sighting tonight, last year, year before?

Hello friends. So I'm kinda all excited at the moment as I really am not sure of what my kids and I are seeing, have seen, am reading up more on right now.
I live on the Long Island Sound in CT. My kids tonight have seen what I saw a year ago in the same spot, slightly to the right of Charles Island ... 3 bright red lights in the shape of a triangle ... it hoovers there for hours, sometimes the lights make different patterns. Just read that there was "some" coverage on UFO Hunters but still not sure what this is. If anyone here has heard anything else about it, I'd appreciate hearing it. I will be investigating this more.
