Things are happening!

Just a heads up to share with you what's been cooking in the Legendary Times Universe. We've been cookin' alright! I've been VERY busy and all the work I put in 2008 comes to fruition this early spring with some incredible projects with which I have been intimately involved:


1) Erich von Daniken, Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, David H. Childress, George Noory and others will appear on 'Ancient Aliens' documentary on the History Channel this Sunday, March 8th

2) Giorgio A. Tsoukalos and Legendary Times Magazine will appear in Disney's RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN - Coming to a Theater near you on March 13th, 2009

3) Giorgio A. Tsoukalos will appear on 2 upcoming episodes of UFO Hunters - TBA


1) 'Ancient Aliens' Documentary - History Channel, Sunday, March 8, 2009

Over the past 6 months I have been the Consulting Producer for a brand new 2 hour History Channel 'Ancient Aliens' documentary. This non-fiction special premieres this Sunday, March 8, 2009 at 8 PM (OR 5 PM, check your local listings!).

There isn't much I'm allowed to say before the program goes on the air, but what I CAN tell you is that my name IS attached to this project and I was the Consulting Producer for this show - - and the production company actually listened to my suggestions and ideas. This 2 hour special was produced by Prometheus Entertainment (for the the History Channel) and it is a modern-day celebration of "40 Years Chariots of the Gods" complete with rock-solid content, a haunting musical score, and stunning visuals. All in HD, too!

In my opinion, 'Ancient Aliens' is the best Ancient Astronaut program ever created next to the original Chariots of the Gods movie. Ever since Chariots of the Gods came out as a movie, this is the only network/cable program that presents the Ancient Astronaut Theory in a positive and thoroughly respectable light. Prometheus did an incredible job and they deserve all the kudos.

2) Giorgio A. Tsoukalos and Legendary Times Magazine in Disney's RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN

Giorgio A. Tsoukalos and Legendary Times Magazine will have a cameo appearance in Disney's new movie RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Carla Gugino, Alexander Ludwig, Garry Marshall, and Ciaran Hinds.

Pay attention during the scenes in which Dwayne Johnson and Carla Gugino race through a UFO Conference... you'll also see Bill Birnes, Whitley Strieber and Dr. Roger Leir - we're all playing ourselves! What great fun we had spending one week on the set of this movie in April of 2008.

What role will Legendary Times Magazine play in the movie? Well, you just have to go check out the movie to find out...!

Movie Synopsis:
"Walt Disney Pictures resurrects one of their time-honored franchises with RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN, a sci-fi adventure that tells the story of two alien visitors (AnnaSophia Robb and Alexander Ludwig) whose search for their spacecraft gets them caught up in an adventure with a cab driver (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) and a hot UFO expert (Carla Gugino). As the group races toward the mysterious mountain in the Nevada desert that has mystified scientists and paranormal researchers for years, the government, gangsters, and an extraterrestrial bounty hunter attempt to prevent them from reaching their intended destination. Based on the book “Escape to Witch Mountain” by Alexander Key, this film is a modern-day re-imagining of Key’s book, which was made into the 1975 Disney classic “Escape to Witch Mountain” and whose characters inspired the 1978 film sequel, “Return from Witch Mountain.” This re-imagined version is a much more action-filled story, complete with breathtaking sequences and state-of-the-art special effects. The cast also includes Kim Richards and Jake Eissinmann, who played the original alien children Tia and Tony in the first two “Witch Mountain” films.

Andy Fickman, the director of this movie, is a HUGE real-life UFO enthusiast. Born in Roswell, New Mexico, he can actually quote all the sightings and really talk shop. According to Fickman, this film isn’t a remake either. The movie takes place thirty years later, and the old two films happened. He also wanted to incorporate the whole "conspiracy theory" element into this movie as much as possible which meant that the movie turned out much, much darker than originally anticipated - which to me is VERY positive!

“It is no accident we ended up with the title RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN, because once this film starts, it takes off like a shot. We wanted it to be a ride that, once you got on, you weren’t getting off until the end,” states Andy Gunn, the movie's executive producer.

3) Giorgio A. Tsoukalos and Legendary Times Magazine to appear on 2 episodes of UFO Hunters

A little over one month ago, Bill Birnes and the entire UFO Hunters team descended upon the Legendary Times Clubhouse and we filmed portions for 2 upcoming episodes of UFO Hunters for the History Channel. I haven't received word yet about specific air dates, however, as soon as I know, I'll make sure to let you know. It was very exciting to have the UFO Hunters team over at the Legendary Times Clubhouse and from what I hear they were extremely pleased of how that day's interviews turned out. Stay tuned! More TBA.

And after you've watched the UFO Hunters episodes, please make sure to discuss the episodes with fellow Legendary Times enthusiasts from all around the world on... well, you get the drift...

And YES, I AM chipping away at the latest issues of Legendary Times Magazine. I wish I could cut myself in half, but I can't. Many of you are aware that it's only me here at the Legendary Times office and while I dealt intimately with all of the projects I just revealed above, I not only have to take care of putting together the next issue, but I also have to deal with the administrative aspects such as entering new Memberships and renewals, etc. and on top of everything else, I have to take care of Legendary Times Books, your Ancient Mysteries bookstore. The latest double issue of Legendary Times Magazine IS almost ready to go to the printer and is scheduled for shipment (shipment! not delivery!) soon.

So sometimes, I simply have to pick my battles because there is only so much that I can do. Please know that I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding very much.
