New member needs help!

I am posting this for a new member who pm'ed me that s/he is having trouble posting on the board. Could one of the Mods please help? Thanks!!

just registered, cannot find any contact info for anyone who can tell me how to post..... there are no buttons to click and no text box that says 'post here' can you help?

PS: I tried to forwrd his pm to a mod and my pm's are not going out...just sitting in my outbox.........

I don't know what to do for them. They are in the new registered group and all they have to do it make a post/thread in the Introduce Yourself section.
Everything is working OK. Every Spammer in the world is able to make a post.

They will just have to try again. I'll send you a pm Serene and see if it goes through to you.

Hi Saskatchawan,

As Metaluna mentioned, all new users must first post in the Introduce Yourself! section.

1) To do that, first navigate to that section (you can click here, but read the rest of the instructions first ).

2) Next, log on (if you have not done that yet).

3) Then click on the NEWTOPIC* button (I circled it in red, click the picture to enlarge it):







4) Once that is done, go ahead and write some text in the text-boxes (subject and body).

5) Note the three buttons labeled as "Save draft", "Preview", and "Submit" (I circled them in red, click the picture to enlarge it). Select the "Submit" button and that is it:

For the first time user, one of the moderators will need to approve it (no input from you is needed) and when that happens your text will become a post.

From that point on, you can create new posts or respond to existing posts in the forum in any open category.

If this is not working, please let Serene know what step is the problem and she can post it here -- thanks.

Serene, a PM will remain in the outbox until it is read, then it will be in the sent box.

Thank you for your in depth explaination for the new user Pons.

Oh the outbox, for some reason it wasn't making sense to me last night what Serene's problem was. I get it now. Yes they stay there until the person picks up the pm.
