Kepler Spots World with Two Suns

In the tradition of Tatooine from Star Wars, the telescope Kepler spotted a planet that has two Suns:

The planet is too far away to support life as we know it, but I thought this was very interesting and shows almost all star systems possibly will have planets.

(Space.com)

It's a real-life Tatooine. A spectacle made popular by the "Star Wars" saga -- a planet with two suns -- has now been confirmed in space for the first time, astronomers revealed.

Scientists using NASA's Kepler space telescope captured details of a giant planet in orbit around the pair of binary stars that make up the Kepler-16 system, which is about 200 light-years away.

I thought it was cool too, I now need me one of those Space Ships, so I can travel the Universe, and check these things out, that is if Yoda approves! :D

Let me contact the ship's captain. I wonder if they really are working on ships like the ones on Star Trek.

I would love to visit the nearby worlds they are discovering.

Yeah, me too. It would be great to see those solar systems with two suns, and find a habitable planet, and land, and take pictures of the scenery. I know others would prefer to just exploit what could be found, but I like the nature of things the best, also find out what kind of wild life is there, and if there are any humanoids, and/or intelligent bipedal creatures.

This is a nice (but short) article on the planets being found:

The official estimate is the Milky Way Galaxy has over 100 billion planets.

I think they've pretty much come to the conclusion that almost all stars have planets. Now, how many of them are habitable is another story, and they said it's more rare for a system to have One star than to have multiple. We're a Bi-Nary system even though we can't see the other star from earth with our naked eye. Thanks for posting these pretty cool articles. :)
