Who's not on Facebook?

I for one am not on Facebook, never wanted to be, never will be! Why should I have to like something or someone on Facebook just to get today's special offer etc.,

I am not on Facebook either. I did have an account but deleted it when I found out they shared and sold personal information.

I'm not either, though I have used my husbands Facebook page once in awhile to get in touch with old friends. Hubby uses FB since his band is on it, it's a way to network and the bar owners use it alot.

I'm not on there either, never was, never will be. They own the copyright to all you post ! Not to mention they follow you round the web after you've been on, folks can't have 'big brother' soon enough it seems ..

I'm watching the Saints/49ers game on tv, they just had an add to win Superbowl tickets by calling the first play in the 4th quarter. I went to the Bud Light website, they are the ones running the comp and surprise surprise, to enter you have to log onto your Facebook account and download an app.

Now you know why I hate Facebook!

Many comments on newspaper and other media outlets are done through Facebook only. It seems Facebook is getting a monopoly on that sort of thing.

It might be easier for many of the companies to contract the comments out to Facebook as they take care of all the problems.

Still, I won't join Facebook.

I agree, it really drives me bonkers! Are we really that important that the entire world needs to be privy to our every move ! ?

I keep as much of my life off the internet and computers as I can. I don't like being dependent on this venue for my entire life and my business.
I am sure it is partly an older person thing, but I still want to pay my own bills and do my shopping and all sorts of other things in person.

You can delete your account on Facebook. It is hard to find it, but there is a place to allow for deletion of the account.

true I could delete it, but then I'd kinda feel bad. They'd be calling soon after asking why I deleted the acc and stuff. I just don't do much on FB I guess... I play texas hold'em, family feud and blackjack!!! LOL

You can delete your account on Facebook. It is hard to find it, but there is a place to allow for deletion of the account.

That is the one problem is it doesn't say whether or not you are deleted. But since I do not get any more emails from Facebook, I am assuming my deletion of the account worked. I made sure to first erase all the information I put in there (or added fake information to the stuff I couldn't take out) so if they want to keep it in archives, they will have an account from Count Dracula.

I deleted mine last month or so and the message FB sent me was that if I didn't log back in, in 14 days it would be totally gone, I have never tried to get on FB again and check it out.
