Giorgio sent an email out a week ago saying that the new volume of Legendary Times was sent out. I checked my mail again yesterday and I still haven't gotten it. Kinda confused. I paid for a 2 year membership about 3 weeks ago or so. I haven't even received any membership info or anything.
Has anyone else gotten their copy, or is it just me? _________________ - Josh

I have been a member of AASRA since 1999 and it always comes when it comes. It has never missed me entirely. The emails are only recent. Sorry.
I think I can vouch for the fact that our friend Giorgio is up to his ears in projects. Maybe soon he will have some help.
Patience is a b*ch sometimes...

So I assume that means that you haven't gotten yours either? I completly understand if he's busy and such. I just want to make sure I'm not the only one!

So...no one has really answered my question yet...
Has anyone got their copy yet?
Again, just want to make sure I'm not the only one because I still haven't gotten it.

Mine hasn't arrived yet either. I'll be sure to speak up when it arrives.
FOLLOWUP:
It hasn't come in the mail yet either and I am hoping to contact Giorgio for some other reasons relating to this board, but have lost his cell #.
The next meetup is coming up soon and I hope to discuss some things with him and will definitely bring it up (unless of course, it comes in the mail by then).
I empathize with everyone waiting for it. I look forward to it every time too. Just hang in there, it exists. I actually saw the proof in his hands at the Indiana Jones meetup. _________________ Forge of Creation - http://www.aliengods.jbsheets.com

We are on Journal watch...
I wish I had more details but it is my understanding that the distributing company that sends out the LT journal made a mistake. It is being corrected right now and the Journals will be on their way as soon as possible.
Please be patient. I am hoping that Giorgio will post and give us more details. Whoever is the first to receive theirs, please post.

Be patience , I have been with them from the very first issue. I was hard going back then, some time a few months between issues or more went by, but I was so grateful when anything did arrive I did not care. They were the only ones out their doing the exploration and fact finding on the topics I was most interested in. I was just glad they have kept it afloat and are doing so great. Think if all of a sudden there was no more Legendry Times? Where could we turn for is kind of information all in one place. Peace to all Linda |

Hi and welcome Linda,
If you have been with Legendary Times since the first issue, then you know how much the group has grown. Thanks to persistence of the group's founders, the interest of it's members, and the technology of the internet.
It is great to have you on the forum. I am looking forward to discussing our favorite topics with you.

I enjoy reading interesting and worth stories and more important Thoughts of the Authors of articles that they share with us.
I would like to get new issue ,but to become a member again ,according to my position now,i can't.I was Member and that made i don't feel lonely!
Maybe it is one more reason for my joining, however, all those people in the past probably expected one day someone solve all mysteries ,they could not;they were lonely as well.
There were no technic ,no mobil phone,no TV, no Internet/Maybe?/,but they were more devoted to observation of beautiful Space craving to comprehend where they came from.
Thank you!

....now that I think about it, I never even go my membership information. I paid for a two year membership and didn't even get any acknowledgment of any kind. Aren't you supposed to get a card or something in the mail? It's been almost 3 months and nothing. I'm confused.

The first year I joined, back in 1998 or so, I got some membership information. I think it was a card and a letter. That was back when Giorgio had some help in the office. He is seriously looking for some help right now for the membership things. If you know of anyone who is Mac-based on the computer and would like to help out, let him know.
My guess is that whatever the new member info is, it will come with the journal. _________________ Forge of Creation - http://www.aliengods.jbsheets.com

I really do hope it does come with the journal. I've been exited about getting this copy for a long time!
I actually talked to him at the last meeting and told him I'd be interested in helping since I don't live far from him. He seemed pretty happy about it. But I never heard back from him. Emailed him a couple times, but no response. So I don't know... |

About your offer to help. I am sure Giorgio is grateful to get any help offered, since LT is a lot like any other research organization. Funding is a combination of donation, membership, book sales, and an occasional sponsor. Sort of like an historical society or museum. This job doesn't pay well and I am grateful to have someone willing to keep it in front of society.
I personally have committed myself to buying books only from Legendary Times. The prices are very reasonable for a small bookshop and he doesn't mark up shipping. The only exception to that rule is if the book I want is not available through LT. In that case, I use the *other place* only as a search engine to find used books sold by private bookstores. If they have a website, I order through them first.
If you go onto the Legendary Times site and look up the membership by country, you will see just how small this group really is. I have been involved since early on. Maybe not in the first year, but I have always tried to keep my membership current. This is not about bragging rights. It is about my enjoyment of being in the front lines of a group that has the potential to become an agent for change in our society. It is all still very little more than potential. For every 20 people who post about these topics in forums and blogs, there are really only one or two who will openly make the effort to talk with their friends about such things and attend groups. Lots of folks are shy when it comes to controversial stuff. We could be less shy and we can also tell others so we can grow to include more motivated folks. But let's always support anyone who is furthering the work started by Erich Von Daniken.

very nice post Jeff, its a clear message to everyone. People pay memberships ( sometimes big money ) for so many different communities, and I dont wanna name it how stupid some of them are. But still people pay...
This network should be one of the most important public communities in the world and I think there should be very close communication with scientists and archeologists from different fields of research. Thats my idea but unfortunately it is not happening in reality as we know. Is there something more important than history and future of our race? What is the real truth and origin of mankind and were are we going? Or is golf more important ) ?
BTW: I just received new double issue ( I think its new ). It is amazing reading especially articles about Egypt are shocking !! Thanks Giorgio

hey guys, like I said Im not sure if the double issue is new but in fact it is none of what I`ve seen before. But I dont own all issues. And there s no date on it so, hard to say.
I ordered some books two weeks ago and it came with them, so it make sense to me the issue is new
it has number 40 and 41 on the cover if it helps. Vol.9 #1 and #2 of 4 _________________ WE DON`T FEAR ANYTHING BUT FEAR ITSELF |

YES!
Recieved mine yesterday!
I suspect that they are all mailed out properly now. Vol 9, issues 1 & 2
First glance, I notice there is an article about Pumu Punku. This was an excellent presentation by Giorgio at one of the meetups. I had forgotten that it would be in here. Pumu Punku is near Tiahuanaco in Bolivia and a couple of points of interest are the huge "H" shaped blocks that interlock a bit like Legos. Another are the lines of drilled holes in the rock so straight and evenly spaced as to suggest a mechanism did the drilling.
Can't wait to dive in...Lets talk about the articles later.

How much time in advance of the latest issue of LT coming out do I need to submit a subscription? After the teaser that Gio put in a different post, I definitely want to get my hands on it!!
But, I just want to make sure that if I apply for a subscription say next week that I won't be too late to get the newest issue that is forthcoming. I would be really upset.

I suggest you write Giorgio about it either PM (on the board) or Email.
He said 2-3 weeks to submit for printing so based on previous timing, it could be 6-8 weeks before he will even think about mailing them out.
Just remember that the subscription is also a membership in the AAS RA organization.

| I just watched the show on the history channel about alien astronauts and tried to find out all I could about the Legendary Times Magazine. I hope to get an issue soon! I live in rural Alabama so I don't have a lot of opportunity to discuss things like this. I am glad this Forum is here! |
