The Residual Effects of Free Energy

Postby Caveman In Space » Wed Apr 25, 2012 4:59 am

Hello,

I'd like to get everyones input on a very sensitive subject - FREE ENERGY.

Let's just say for second that Solar Power becomes Mickey Mouse technology compared to a free-energy device that may or may not be developed in the near future. Let's call this device - A Perpetual Magno-Electric Generator, for fun. (Electricity produced based upon the theory of a magnetically driven generator using natural magnets on a wheel attached to an AC generator that can even operate in space without the help of gravity - I might add). (Most perpetual generators that actually work are based on gravity, which I think is cheating.. because a real free energy device would and should work in free space.)

Ok.. let's say this device can be made to fit into any size object to power it.. For example, the smallest hand held device like a cell phone, or a electric-battery operated car, or even as large as a powerplant station for city size electric generation which in any case, can take the electricity produced from this device and store it in a battery to be used later. (such as the electric car). Even while the car sits (or drives), it recharges it's own battery for example.

Let's stop and ask ourselves... what would be the reprecussion of all this? .. No more oil production production would be needed to power the world. No more fossil fuels would need to be burned. Coal plants wouldn't be needed either. Nuclear energy plants would also no longer would be needed.

What - (in your personal opinions) would be the reprecussion of such a device? Take your time answering, there will be no grades given for this assignment, it's either pass or fail for attendance only :)

Great topic Caveman! We're feeling these residual effects today, as we speak. Your concept of free energy is certainly interesting, but there are many other working concepts out there which are viable replacements to our current paradigm. I have included a couple URLS below which detail some of the science working today.

The problem is, the energy paradigm today is controlled by the largest corporate entities in the world, and their leaders are very reluctant to give that up. There are trillions of dollars in proven (and recoverable) reserves all over the world; the only obstacles are regulation and to a lesser degree technology. To put this in perspective, we have hundreds of years of energy left under this paradigm. Now consider this, if you're a very wealthy and very powerful individual with a family and community of like-minded friends, would you want to relinquish that overnight? Maybe you Caveman :) ...but history tells us most don't and won't. Yes, there are examples of benevolent leaders who bestow some of the benefits of wealth down to their people; but instead, ask them to remove themselves from power and wealth and they'd be loath to do so. Look at all of them, they have the life of Riley! And it passes down generation to generation, engraining in the minds of the receiver the entitlement of it all. This cycle is extremely difficult to change.

Our science is capable of developing not only the technology for an energy paradigm shift (old buzzword, sorry), it is capable of changing our civilization as we know it. The constraints aren't within the science, it's within the people who control the "free markets" which distribute the products, services and systems by which we live our lives. If science were allowed to level the playing field, so to speak, the individuals in power and wealth wouldn't be needed anymore; nor would they be enabled to enjoy the benefits of their current position. Look at what happened to Nicola Tesla and Thomas Edison...no one knows about Tesla, the real brains behind electricity. But every school kid knows about Edison, who saw the business behind the technology. That concept hasn't changed and won't without some dramatic and/or earth changing event (IMO).

At some point, the human race will no longer be able to sustain nor tolerate such an unmatured level of thinking about energy production. The revolution is already underway with solar power, over-unity devices, and nuclear fusion. It's only a matter of time before those that have a hold on the energy sources and are selling them, will have to revert to "helping" people to make their money instead of capitalizing on a natural resource.

The reason I say this is there are groups that are out there trying to make free energy possible, to a certain extent I might add.. it's not like they're going to let people create atomic devices, nor should they. Plus, who do you think the people are going to follow in the end? .. Think Linux (open source) and Windows, and that will give you an idea of where the people's mindsets are going to go in the end about energy, in my opinion.
