:: Top News Secrets of Arkaim (Part 2) In 1987 the unique archaeological complex of Arkaim was discovered. The general area of this monument is 20 thousand square meters. The area of archaeological excavations is more than 8 thousands square meters large. Arkaim is not the only place of archaeological interst: The so called "country of cities" became an archaeological area of cultural, ancient complexes: Arkaim, Sintashta, Ust'ye.
